Homebound Ministry:
Extraordinary Ministers bring Holy Communion to parish members who request a visit at home as they are not able to attend Mass in person. They and members of the clergy meet in the Parish Center at 9:30 a.m. Thursday mornings for Morning Prayer and visitation assignments. The Ministers also visit Catholics weekly in various nursing homes within our local area. Visits include a brief prayer service and distribution of Holy Communion. To volunteer, please contact Karen Bell, 513-984-5838 or klwbell@gmail.com.
Prayer Shawl Apostolate:
While praying, All Saints parishioners knit or crochet shawls at home or as a group for those in need of comfort or to celebrate a marriage, graduation, birth of a child, etc. The shawls are made by human hands so the recipient can wrap him or herself in God’s loving care.
Social Outreach Commission:
We have many opportunities for outreach within our own community, our local community and our broader world communities. We strive to promote service to these communities as well as promoting an awareness of broader social issues.
Welcome Wagon:
Members of our community contact new families to welcome them and offer resources. A friendly voice, a smile, and a visit help our new familes feel welcomed into our All Saints family. If you would like to become part of this ministry, please contact Donna Broderick at 513-505-6752 or donnabroderick@gmail.com.
Respect Life Commitee: The members of the All Saints Respect Life Committee advocates for and provides prayer, information, and coordinates support drives for local Pro-Life inititiatives in an effort to ensure that every child is loved and supported, and that each mother or family is supported in some way. We do this through a variety of ways including monthly meetings, play dates, evening social events (for both moms and for couples), and volunteering in our community. Our monthly meetings are held once each month from 6:30-8:30p.m., September through May in the Parish Center. There is no annual registration process or fee and no minimum meeting commitment to participate. If you are a parishioner of All Saints or St. Vincent Ferrer’s Church or your children attend All Saints or St. Vincent Ferrer School and you are interested in more information about our MOMs group, please contact Krista Keehn at 513-722-5508 or Kristarnlsw@aol.com.
